Job Description
Our client is looking for a Welder to join a reputable company specializing in heat exchanger and recuperator manufacturing. If you have experience in welding techniques and a passion for precision fabrication, this is an excellent opportunity to advance your career in a growing industry. In this role, you will be responsible for performing MIG and TIG welding on various sheet metal components, ensuring adherence to strict quality and safety standards. Your day-to-day will involve setting up welding equipment, selecting the correct tooling, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment. This position requires strong knowledge of welding procedures, equipment maintenance, and safety protocols, with opportunities to learn laser and plasma welding technologies. The work environment is on-site, with a schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
Required Skills, Education, and Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in MIG and TIG welding, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Ability to set up and operate various welding machines and select appropriate tooling
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to welding and fabrication, with proper PPE usage
- Experience with operator machine maintenance, including troubleshooting and minor repairs
- Strong attention to detail to meet pressure test and part tolerance requirements
- Ability to adapt to various welding assignments and operate multiple machines as needed
- Willingness to learn laser and plasma welding processes
