About the Role:
Busy manufacturing operations seeking a Receiver to support production and warehouse facilities.
As the Receiver you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate receipt of all materials and supplies necessary for manufacturing operations.
You will perform all aspects of the receiving process, from unloading deliveries to verifying contents and ensuring proper storage.
- The receiving process:
- Unloading of trucks and deliveries.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Inspect materials for damage or quality issues.
- Process returns and discrepancies.
- Ensure proper labeling and storage of received materials.
- Maintain accurate records:
- Manage receiving logs and inventory databases.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience Receiving in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Strong understanding of receiving and inventory management principles.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management software.
- Forklift certification a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
