Job Description
Our client is looking for a Warehouse Materials Associate to join a large, dynamic warehouse environment focused on efficiency, safety, and attention to detail. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting deliveries, operating automated systems, and supporting inventory management processes. You’ll use your computer skills to manage shipments, perform cycle counts, and operate forklifts and automated storage systems to ensure smooth daily operations.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who enjoy working in a fast-paced warehouse setting and have experience with inventory control, automated systems, and material handling equipment. You should be comfortable working on your feet for long periods, lifting up to 30 lbs regularly, and collaborating with team members to meet daily goals. The role involves operating or quickly learning to operate forklifts, ride-on pallet jacks, and self-guided vehicles in a climate-controlled environment.
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM
Required Skills, Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 30 lbs regularly, with occasional heavier lifting with assistance
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
- Basic math skills for inventory and order accuracy
- Comfortable working on your feet and walking throughout large facilities
- Strong computer skills and willingness to learn inventory management software
- Ability to operate or quickly learn to operate forklift, automated storage, and retrieval systems including smart forklifts and self-guided vehicles
- Safe and efficient operation of material-handling equipment
- Ability to perform regular cycle counts and inventory audits
- Good communication skills for teamwork and training
- Willingness to participate in team meetings and process improvements
