Job Description
Our client is looking to fill a Warehouse Associate position immediately. You would be joining a growing team in the logistics department. They manufacture computer systems that are used in medical device, military, and industrial applications. This position requires previous experience shipping, receiving, and strong inventory control skills.
As the Warehouse Associate you will be responsible for shipping and receiving, tracking inventory levels, and packaging of all order shipped to customers.
In the receiving of incoming shipments, you will ensure accuracy of orders and verify incoming goods against packing lists. You will then sort items to be stored in the warehouse or stockroom areas for production lines.
In the shipping or outgoing orders, you will be responsible for creating labels and shipping documents for domestic and international shipments using computer systems.
Candidates should have previous experience in a logistics warehouse environment performing shipping and receiving of goods.
Looking for someone with strong computer skills to maintain inventory software systems, email communication, and shipping systems such as UPS, FedEx, and other freight forwarding platforms.
Must be able to lift boxes up to 25 pounds.
Proficient MS office Excel/Word, and strong analytical skills.
