Job Description
Our client is looking for a Thru-Hole and SMT Solderer. This company specializes in innovative manufacturing, prototyping, and repair services, supporting industries from startups to global leaders with cutting-edge solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for hand soldering through-hole and SMT components onto PCBs using soldering techniques and equipment, ensuring high-quality assembly and adhering to safety and quality standards. You’ll work within a busy manufacturing environment, assisting in the production of state-of-the-art electronic assemblies with room for growth and advancement opportunities.
Required Skills, Education, and Experience:
- Soldering skills for both through-hole and surface-mount (SMT) components
- Ability to read and understand BOMs and visual aids
- Proficiency with Windows operating systems and basic computer skills
- Experience working with water-soluble and no-clean fluxes
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and dependability in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to identify components correctly and understand polarity
- Manual soldering using microscopes, mag lights, flux, and other basic equipment
