Job Description
Our client is looking for a Systems Technician with HVAC Certification to join their well-established team in a dynamic manufacturing environment. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling, diagnosing, and repairing refrigeration and non-refrigerated systems, utilizing your expertise with tools like PLCs, loop controllers, and firmware programming. You’ll interpret blueprints, schematics, and test plans to ensure systems operate efficiently and safely, while providing technical support on-site or at customer locations. With a focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement, you will also assist engineering in developing procedures and train less experienced team members. This role offers a competitive pay range of $25 to $30 per hour, with potential increases and benefits such as medical, 401K, and union membership after full-time status.
Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Required Skills, Education and Experience:
- 1+ year of experience with system diagnosis, repair, and assembly in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- HVAC Certification with knowledge of refrigerant charging, tubing, and soldering techniques
- Experience programming PLCs, loop controllers, and firmware with appropriate software tools
- Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics, and test procedures
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and quality acceptance testing
