Job Description
Our client is looking for an experienced Assembler with electro-mechanical assembly and SMT (surface mount) soldering skills. This company is a leader in the design, manufacture, distribution, and service of specialty electronic products, providing security solutions to healthcare facilities.
In this role, you will be responsible for assembling electronic components, subassemblies, and finished products. You will inspect products in real time to ensure products are built to print and meet IPC-610 workmanship standards.
Able to perform basic soldering and rework of SMT components.
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Required Skills, Education, and Experience:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, factory, or manufacturing setting is required
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively
- Familiarity with reading work orders, assembly drawings, and schematics
- Soldering and rework skills for SMT components
- Ability to perform on-line go-no-go testing and inspection using magnifying devices, measuring instruments, and electronic test equipment
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- 1 to 2+ years of electronic assembly and inspection experience preferred
- Ability to help in assembly/post SMT soldering
