Job Description
Our client, the only US manufacturer of heat treated DTI's, located in the Springfield, Vermont area is seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to join their manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing all financial activities, ensuring compliance with accounting principles, and providing financial guidance to management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Perform cost accounting and inventory management activities.
- Provide financial guidance and analysis to management for decision-making purposes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and drive business growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and auditing standards.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, such as SAP or Oracle, and MS Excel.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
