Job Description
Our client is looking for an Assemblers with soldering experience to join their innovative team dedicated to advanced manufacturing and testing using cutting-edge technology. This role involves building high-end electro-mechanical products in a fast-paced environment, following detailed work instructions and engineering drawings to ensure precision and quality. You will be responsible for performing electrical and mechanical assembly tasks, including soldering, wire wrapping, and cable preparation, all while maintaining safety and efficiency standards. In this role, you will be assembling complex electro-mechanical components, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and working closely with team members to meet production goals.
You will be responsible for:
- Building products accurately and efficiently according to work instructions and engineering drawings
- Following safety protocols and using basic hand tools and equipment
- Performing electrical and mechanical assembly tasks, including soldering, wire wrapping, and cable preparation
- Supporting team efforts in process improvements and quality standards
- Operating manual, semi-automated, and automated equipment as required
- Working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on precision and quality
Work Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM, and every other Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
Required Skills, Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of electro-mechanical assembly experience
- Mechanical and electrical assembly skills
- Ability to follow work instructions and mechanical drawings accurately
- Experience with basic soldering, wire wrap, and cable assembly
- Strong attention to detail and dexterity working with small components
- Ability to use basic hand tools and equipment safely
- Experience with electrical assembly and soldering preferred (J-STD-001)
- Prior IPC-610-A solder inspection experience a plus
