Job Description
Our client is looking for an Electro-Mechanical Assembler. This role involves supporting prototype production, research, and development efforts through various assembly tasks, including surface mount soldering, reworking electronics, wiring, and testing PCB’s. The company is a leading aerospace manufacturing firm focused on delivering critical systems and components for aerospace and defense markets, known for its innovative products and global reach.
As an Electro-Mechanical Assembler, you will perform hands-on assembly, soldering, wiring, and component testing to support the development of cutting-edge aerospace solutions. You will work closely with engineering teams to interpret drawings, rework circuit boards, and ensure high-quality assembly of electronic components.
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Required Skills, Education and Experience:
- Proven experience performing surface mount soldering and rework skills
- Ability to prep and insert electronic components onto circuit boards
- Skilled in hand soldering and reworking circuit boards
- Ability to learn wiring techniques such as wire bonding and crimping
- Experience utilizing electrical test equipment to repair and troubleshoot PCBs
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and instructions
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
