Job Description
Our client is looking for a Shipping Clerk to support warehouse and distribution operations within a fast-paced environment. As a Shipping Clerk, you will be responsible for receiving, organizing, and processing incoming shipments, performing inventory counts, and preparing orders for shipment. You’ll utilize warehouse equipment like pallet jacks and hand trucks, ensure accurate documentation, and maintain a clean, safe workspace. This role is ideal for someone with 1–3 years of warehouse experience who is detail-oriented and familiar with inventory management and shipping software. Your day-to-day will involve a mix of physical tasks, inventory control, and collaboration with team members to ensure smooth shipping and delivery processes.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Required Skills, Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma required
- 1-3 years of warehouse or distribution experience
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks
- Experience with shipping software and inventory management systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of safety protocols in a warehouse environment
