Job Description
Our client is looking for a Shipping Clerk. This essential role supports warehouse and distribution operations, ensuring smooth and accurate handling of shipments and inventory management. As a Shipping Clerk, you will be responsible for receiving and processing incoming shipments, verifying accuracy, organizing inventory, and preparing customer orders for shipment. Your attention to detail and knowledge of warehouse equipment like pallet jacks and hand trucks will help maintain efficient operations in a busy distribution environment. This position is ideal for someone with 1-3 years of warehouse experience who is comfortable working in a fast-paced setting and following safety protocols.
In this role, you will perform tasks such as picking, packing, receiving, boxing, and documentation, while ensuring all inventory levels are accurately recorded and reports are maintained. You will also contribute to maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment and work closely with team members to resolve challenges as they arise. The work environment is warehouse-based, requiring physical activity and adherence to safety standards.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Required Skills, Education, and Experience:
- High School Diploma required
- 1-3 years of warehouse experience required
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of shipping software and inventory management systems
- Commitment to safety protocols and GMP requirements
