Our client is a Fortune 250 Global Manufacturer with over a century in business. They are eager to hire a Receiver to support their Materials Department.
As the Receiver you will ensure that incoming materials are accurate and inventoried. You will also be responsible for returned parts from the production floor.
Working in the stockroom area you will manage all parts coming into, and out of the stockroom to production. You will update inventory in the ERP/MRP system as well as placing orders with suppliers. You will also work very closely with Supply Chain and Accounting teams to solve issues relative to inventory discrepancies.
You will performs cycle counts and inventory adjustments as needed.
You may also be cross-trained to support Shipping.
EDUCATION:
· High school diploma or GED required.
EXPERIENCE:
· 3 - 5 years manufacturing related stockroom experience. Receiving and material handling experience preferred.
Ability to stand and move around the manufacturing facility all day long.
Strong computer skills to maintain inventory systems.
Strong communication skills to work with several other department teams and suppliers.
