Job Description


Our client is looking for a Production Technician. This role involves supporting the testing and calibration of high-frequency RF and microwave components used in military and aerospace systems. You will be performing precision tuning, troubleshooting, and rework on complex circuits and assemblies, ensuring that each component meets rigorous specifications. This is a mission-critical position that contributes to the development of advanced land, air, and space systems. You will also have the opportunity to develop high-value skills such as mechanical alignment and dimensional inspection while working alongside experienced technicians.

In this role, you will be setting up, calibrating, testing, and troubleshooting RF circuits, components, and mechanical assemblies, primarily within a military and aerospace context. You will work with waveguide and coaxial components, performing manual assembly operations and using advanced test equipment to ensure functionality and compliance. Your work directly supports defense and exploration initiatives, making a tangible impact on national security and technological advancement.

Required Skills, Education and Experience:
  • Experience with RF/Microwave operation and measurement techniques
  • Proficiency in calibrating and operating network analyzers and other RF test equipment
  • Soldering experience with microwave and waveguide components
  • Solid understanding of microwave principles, filters, passive components, and DC circuits
  • Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and drawings to develop or follow test procedures
  • Familiarity with power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes, power meters, and spectrum analyzers
  • Experience with manual assembly operations, including the use of epoxies and tuning elements

Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM (9/80 schedule)
