Job Description
Our client is looking for Quality Technician.
Join a globally recognized team that designs and produces equipment for the Aerospace and Defense industry. In this role, you’ll support manufacturing quality by completing first-piece, in-process, and final inspections to ensure products meet strict requirements.
You’ll work in a new, state-of-the-art facility assembling and inspecting electronic components, wire harnesses, power management solutions, and electromechanical assemblies. If you enjoy hands-on quality inspection, reading technical documentation, and ensuring every build meets spec, this Quality Technician opportunity could be a great fit.
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Required Skills, Education and Experience:
- 1–3 years of technical or electronics inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
- Quality Assurance experience
- Ability to perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections on electronic and electromechanical assemblies
- Experience inspecting electronic components, wire harnesses, and power management solutions
- Ability to maintain accurate inspection/test documentation and record results in a database
- Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, wire diagrams, and complex technical data sheets
- Proficiency using automated and hand-held measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges) to verify tolerances
- Experience with document control tasks such as updating, issuing, and reviewing quality documents and work instructions
- Ability to verify testing equipment calibration and maintenance status
- Experience identifying, segregating, and documenting non-conforming material, including generating Material Discrepancy Reports (MDRs)
- Commitment to following established safety and quality processes within a manufacturing work cell
