Job Description
Our client is looking for a Sr. Quality Technician. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a global manufacturer known for precision sensing and sealing components that serve major industries. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting materials through visual and mechanical methods, conducting detailed measurements, and testing parts to ensure they meet customer and industry standards. You'll also handle documentation, calibration, and shipment verification, helping maintain the company's commitment to quality and excellence.
In this role, you will be crucial to maintaining high standards of quality control, supporting production, and ensuring compliance with aerospace and industry-specific standards.
Required Skills, Education and Experience:
- Experience inspecting materials visually and mechanically using hand tools, gauges, and optical equipment
- Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) standards
- Knowledge of testing equipment such as leak testers, hipot, capacitance meters, and solder pots
- Understanding of industry standards including AS9102, IPC 610, J-Std, and Mil-883
- Ability to complete inspection documentation accurately and maintain QC logs
- Experience with calibration procedures and supporting internal calibrations
- Knowledge of packaging and shipping documentation requirements, including handling corrective actions and RMAs
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
