Job Description
Our client is looking for a Quality Manager to lead their Quality Control Department within a global manufacturing organization specializing in highly engineered sensing, control, and sealing components. As a Quality Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring products meet the highest standards of quality, supporting customer satisfaction, and maintaining compliance with industry certifications. You’ll oversee visual, functional, and dimensional inspections of finished products, manage quality documentation and calibration systems, and coordinate inspections according to production schedules.
In this role, you will supervise and train quality team members, handle supplier audits, respond to customer quality surveys, and ensure adherence to quality assurance standards. You’ll work closely with the Plant Manager to develop, implement, and maintain the company’s Quality Management System in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position is ideal for professionals with strong leadership skills, experience in quality inspection, and familiarity with industry certifications such as ISO or AS9100.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Required Skills, Education and Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in quality management within manufacturing or industrial environments
- Proven ability to lead and train quality inspection teams
- Strong knowledge of quality standards, inspection procedures, and calibration systems
- Experience with supplier audits and customer quality survey responses
- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems (QMS) such as ISO or AS9100
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers, suppliers, and internal teams
- Ability to plan, coordinate, and prioritize quality inspections and compliance activities
