Join a team that has been in business for more than 120 years and has become integral to keeping global industry in motion. We are seeking applicants who would be willing to train in metallurgy inspection which is the inspection and testing of metal components and materials. Applicants with backgrounds in one of the following areas could be an excellent fit if willing to learn something new: quality assurance, inspection, machine operation, machining, etc.

Job Description
Our client, a globally recognized Upper Valley manufacturing facility, is seeking a 1st shift Quality Inspector. Join a team that has been in business for more than 120 years and has become integral to keeping global industry in motion. We are seeking applicants who would be willing to train in metallurgy inspection which is the inspection and testing of metal components and materials. Applicants with backgrounds in one of the following areas could be an excellent fit if willing to learn something new: quality assurance, inspection, machine operation, machining, etc.
Overview:
- The Quality Inspector will be trained to perform diversified inspection, testing and documentation of raw and in process materials, following established procedures
- You will utilize bench tools such as sanders, cutters, various washes and immersions to prepare and test materials
- Work from instructions, specifications, prints; determine results of tests by dial indicator, meters, gauges, light as well as visual checks
- The Quality Inspector will perform in-process metallurgical inspections according to customer specifications.
- You will perform a variety of documentation and maintenance of necessary records
General Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Basic mathematical and mechanical skills are required
- Basic computer interface skills are required
- Strong attention to detail along with the ability to multi-task and follow written and prescribed work instructions, procedures specifications and engineering drawings
- 1st shift hours are: M-F 7am to 3pm
