Job Description
Our client is looking for a Quality Inspector to join a leading organization that specializes in supporting military, aerospace, and defense systems. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of components used in land vehicles, aircraft, and space systems, contributing to mission-critical projects. As a Quality Control Inspector II, you will perform mechanical and dimensional inspections, interpret blueprints and GD&T, and utilize precision measurement tools like calipers, height gauges, and Vernier scales. Your work will involve reviewing documents such as Certificates of Conformance, CoAs, and FAIR reports, as well as coordinating with different departments to resolve quality issues. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop high-value skills in quality assurance and work with cutting-edge technologies in a fast-paced, on-site environment that has received industry recognition for excellence.
Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–3:30 PM, with every other Friday off
Required Skills, Education and Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in dimensional inspection and quality control within the aerospace or defense industry
- Proficiency with measurement tools such as calipers, height gauges, pin gauges, and Vernier scales
- Strong understanding of blueprints, GD&T, and quality documentation like CoC, CoA, and FAIR reports
- Experience working with Return to Vendor (RTV) processes and coordinating with Material Review Boards
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills to identify, document, and discuss quality issues
