Job Description
Our client is looking for a Quality Inspector. They are a company renowned for designing and manufacturing high-performance cables, assemblies, and harnesses capable of operating in extreme environments. In this role, you will be responsible for performing incoming, in-process, and final inspections to ensure all products meet customer specifications, engineering standards, and internal quality requirements before shipment. You will verify product conformity through visual and dimensional inspections, review documentation, and conduct functional testing when necessary, maintaining full traceability and compliance with industry and internal standards.
In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the quality and reliability of products that serve demanding applications, ensuring they meet strict industry standards and customer expectations.
Required Skills, Education and Experience:
- Proven experience in incoming, in-process, and final inspection of mechanical and electromechanical assemblies, cables, and connectors
- Strong understanding of quality standards such as IPC/WHMA-A-620 or similar
- Experience performing dimensional inspections and using precision measuring equipment (CMM, hand tools, etc.)
- Ability to review certifications, work orders, and documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Knowledge of fluorescence testing, resistance testing, and functional testing procedures
- Detail-oriented with excellent documentation skills and experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and ERP systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify nonconforming material and initiate NCRs
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
