Our client is looking for a Quality Technician. This role is essential in supporting high-stakes military and aerospace systems, with a focus on fine-tuning components used in land vehicles, aircraft, and space systems. In this position, you will be responsible for inspecting parts during in-process production, communicating errors, and recording test data to ensure the delivery of top-quality products. You'll develop hands-on skills in mechanical alignment, dimensional inspection, and part finishing while being mentored by experienced technicians. This is a great opportunity to contribute to mission-critical work that helps defend and explore our world.
In this role, you will be responsible for understanding and performing mechanical/dimensional inspection, reviewing and auditing documentation such as CoC, CoA, and FAIR reports, writing Defective Material Reports (DMRs), and coordinating Return to Vendor (RTV) processes. You will also use measuring tools such as calipers, height gauges, pin gauges, and vernier to inspect products during manufacturing, and collaborate with Material Review Board, Planning, Purchasing, or Quality Engineering to resolve issues proactively.
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, every other Friday off, 9/80 schedule

Required Skills, Education and Experience:
- Quality Assurance experience
- Knowledge of Quality standards and procedures
- Ability to interpret blueprints and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Experience with mechanical/dimensional inspection tools (calipers, height gages, pin gages, verniers)
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Experience in reviewing and auditing test documents and certificates of conformance (CoC, CoA)
