Our client is a local, family owned company operating in Souther NH for over 20 years. They are seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector of machined products.
The Quality Technician will also be responsible for inspecting completed products for conformance to specification. Inspections included are ID, OD, length and wall thickness using a ruler, snap gauge, laser mike, gauge pins or computer. Added responsibilities include maintaining quality control paperwork. Strict adherence to written procedures is a key part of our Quality System.

Job Description
Our client is a local, family owned company operating in Souther NH for over 20 years. They are seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector of machined products.
The Quality Technician will also be responsible for inspecting completed products for conformance to specification. Inspections included are ID, OD, length and wall thickness using a ruler, snap gauge, laser mike, gauge pins or computer. Added responsibilities include maintaining quality control paperwork. Strict adherence to written procedures is a key part of our Quality System.
Required Ability, Skills, and Competencies
- Measuring with Scales, Tape Measure, micrometers, calipers, ring gage, snap gage etc.
- Vision system inspections
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- ERP System
- Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills.
- Ability to communicate (written and verbal) and interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Ability to self-motivate and work independently and as part of a team.
- Create Work Instructions on inspection techniques and AQL levels for inspection samples.
- Present findings of non-conformances and/or tolerances changes in Quality Meetings.
- Adjusts easily and readily to a fast-paced work environment with changing priorities
Required Education and Experience
- Working knowledge of handheld inspection equipment
- 2+ years of experience using vision systems
- Must have experience with calipers, micrometers, go/no go gauge, etc.
- Experience working in a quality environment (ISO 9001)
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Computer knowledge and data entry skills (Microsoft Office Products, Word, Excel etc.)
- Minimum 5 years in a quality inspection/Technician position.
- High School Diploma or GED
