Job Description
Our client who specializes in building products for the Defense & Aerospace, Telecom and Semiconductor industries is now seeking a Quality Inspection.
Interested candidates must have previous inspection and measuring skills from a production manufacturing company. You must have experience using tools such as micrometers, verniers, drop indicators and height gauges.
This role is essential in ensuring that all manufactured products meet the highest quality standards. The inspector will perform thorough inspections at various stages of production, including incoming raw materials, in-process checks, and final assessments. They are a reputable organization recognized for their commitment to quality and innovation within their industry.
In this position, you will be responsible for conducting piece part and assembly inspections on RF and microwave components, interpreting drawings, and understanding tolerances to maintain product excellence. You will assist the quality team in enhancing inspection efficiency and write reports on nonconforming products.
In this role, you will be performing quality control inspections, checking for conformance to drawings and blueprints, and using tools like verniers, height gauges, calipers, and scopes. You will also support the team by ensuring all products meet specifications and pass quality standards.
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM (or 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM depending on the department, with a 10% shift differential)
Required Skills, Education and Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in RF inspection or related quality control fields
- Ability to pass a drug screening test
- Familiarity with IPC 620 standards
- Knowledge of FAI (First Article Inspection) processes is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret drawings or blueprints
- Working knowledge of precision measurement tools such as verniers, height gauges, calipers, and scopes
