Our client, an innovative manufacturing facility working on cutting edge medical devices, is seeking an experienced Incoming QA Inspector to join their team on 2nd shift . This position has significant and direct impact on the manufacturing process and success of projects.
Overview:
Hours:
*You will have every other Friday off. This is a 9/80 work-schedule.
2nd Shift: Mon. – Thurs. 3pm to 12:30 am / Friday 3pm to 11:30 pm with alternating Friday’s off.

Job Description
Our client, an innovative manufacturing facility working on cutting edge medical devices, is seeking an experienced Incoming QA Inspector to join their team on 2nd shift . This position has significant and direct impact on the manufacturing process and success of projects.
Overview:
- Review Device History Records, Work Orders and other documentation for compliance to established procedures and Good Documentation Practices
- Work with Production department to effectively and efficiently inspect manufactured products
- Work with Quality Engineers to collect data and drive nonconformance resolution
- Drive containment actions as needed when a non-conforming action has been determined, following all Quality Management System (QMS) requirements
- Must have knowledge of visual and mechanical inspection.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a quality inspector. 5+ years desired.
- Ability to use mechanical equipment that may include but not limited to Optical comparator, CMM, micrometers, pin gages, etc.
- Ability to interpret inspection procedures, drawings, and instructions
- Prior experience in medical device and or electro-mechanical assembly environment is preferred
- Prior experience working with an ERP/MRP system
- Prior experience working in an ISO9001, AS9100, or ISO13485 environment is preferred
