Job Description


A long-time family owned company in Southern NH, which designs and manufactures industrial electronic instruments for sensing, monitoring and measurement applications, is currently looking to hire a full time 1st Shift Electronics QA Inspector. 
 

Job Responsibilities 
 
  • The duties and responsibilities of the QA Inspector include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Read drawings, specifications, assembly instructions, BOM’s and assembly procedures to perform inspections and tests; use ERP and document directories to verify correct version of documentation;
  • Perform inspections on product with and without magnification using workmanship standards and reference industry standards i.e. IPC-A-610;
  • Perform inspections on product using test equipment such as calipers, steel rulers and assembly fixtures, and others as required
  • Identify and record defects, entering data in electronic media to track and report quality metrics. Complete other appropriate tags and inventory movement forms as needed. Enter defect trends into the Mantis database.
  • One (1) to two (2) years QA and inspection experience

 

Required Skills and Competencies
  • Ability to use computers (typically Microsoft Office Suite –Word, Excel, Access, email software, as well as other Quality or MRP software) is required
  • Knowledge of electronic components, inspection and test equipment.
  • Understanding of ISO 9001; ability to follow written instructions and look for opportunities for improvement. Internal audit experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar
  • Excellent problem solving skills to assist in eliminating errors and their causes.
  • Ability to interpret and work to current IPC-A-610 standard
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to ten (10) pounds.
  • Ability to operate hand measuring equipment and tools.
