Job Description
Our client is looking for a Process Operator. This is a vital role in a company dedicated to supporting advanced military and aerospace systems, contributing to land vehicles, aircraft, and space exploration efforts. In this role, you will be assembling flat plate array antennas according to detailed drawings and process sheets, applying braze paste with precision, and preparing components for the aluminum dip braze process. You’ll work closely with team members to ensure high-quality standards and accurate documentation, all while developing hands-on technical skills in a fast-paced environment.
In this role, you will:
- Assemble flat plate array antennas following approved drawings, process sheets, and work instructions.
- Apply braze paste to specific joint locations using approved materials and application methods.
- Inspect components for fit, cleanliness, and proper alignment before braze processing.
- Prepare assemblies for aluminum dip braze processing and transport them to the salt pot room.
- Collaborate with brazing personnel to maintain workflow and proper handling of assemblies.
- Complete all required documentation, including traveler signoffs, traceability, and quality records.
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 12:00 AM, with a 9/80 schedule
Required Skills, Education and Experience:
- Experience assembling components in a manufacturing or technical environment
- Attention to detail and strong inspection skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and process sheets
- Knowledge of brazing or joining techniques (preferred but not mandatory)
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Prior experience working with aerospace or military manufacturing is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required
