Job Description
Our client is looking for Equipment Operator and is a leading manufacturer of engineering products for military communication systems, dedicated to supporting our armed forces. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and monitoring furnace and exhaust equipment during the 2nd shift (12:00pm - 8:30pm). As an Equipment Operator, you will work in a manufacturing environment, overseeing furnace brazing, firing operations, and exhaust systems, ensuring the smooth production of military communication components. You will need to interpret technical documents, handle basic computer tasks, and work independently after training, demonstrating strong attention to safety and detail.
This role is ideal for motivated individuals with prior experience in furnace operation, vacuum equipment, or electrical measurement, and those comfortable working in variable indoor temperatures (60-85+ degrees F). Your ability to follow detailed instructions, lift up to 20 lbs alone (or 75 lbs with assistance), and record data accurately will contribute to your success on this team.
Work Schedule:
Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM–8:30 PM, with training on 1st shift
Required Skills, Education, and Experience:
- 1+ years of experience operating industrial furnaces, vacuum equipment, or electrical measurement tools
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and follow written instructions
- Basic computer skills including MS Outlook, Excel, and Office applications
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs alone and 75 lbs with assistance
- Strong attention to safety and detail in a manufacturing environment
