Job Description
Our client is looking for a Quality Inspector. This company is a prominent player in the manufacturing of electronic products for aerospace and high-tech markets, renowned for its stability, positive culture, and growth opportunities. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting and auditing printed circuit boards to ensure they meet IPC-A-610 standards, performing first piece and in-process inspections, and actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives. You will also handle data entry, understand process control specifications, and contribute to maintaining a safe work environment.
In this role, you will be tasked with:
- Inspecting and auditing products to IPC-A-610 standards and completing Certificates of Compliance as needed
- Performing first piece inspections at major process steps
- Conducting incoming and in-process inspections with a thorough understanding of acceptance and rejection criteria
- Manually entering inspection data into the system
- Following all process control specifications and safety rules
- Participating in continuous improvement projects
- Cross-training in other departments as needed
- Performing additional duties as requested or assigned
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
Required Skills, Education, and Experience:
- Experience working with PCB inspection or related electronics manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of soldering techniques and standards
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, internal and customer requirements
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Motivated self-starter with a desire to improve processes
- High school diploma or GED; or 1-3 months related experience/training
