Job Description
Our client supports mission-critical programs for major Department of Defense (DoD) contractors. All operations are compliant with ITAR regulations and aligned with IPC standards.
As an Electronics Assembler, you will participate in a multi-stage circuit board production process. Responsibilities span from board kitting to SMT, both manual and machine soldering, mechanical integration, and testing in a clean-controlled environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive fabricated boards from Amphenol and complete kitting processes
- Operate within Surface Mount Technology (SMT) workflow, moving boards between SMT and assembly stages
- Solder components by hand or machine, including torque fixture installation and pinning
- Perform masking, conformal coating, and EST testing in a clean (but not strictly sterile) room
- Collaborate with quality and process engineers to uphold IPC compliance
- Work across multiple stations and functions based on production priorities
Compliance & Standards
- Operate in compliance with ITAR regulations
- Adhere to IPC standards for electronic assembly
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working in IPC-compliant environments
- Demonstrated understanding of IPC-A-610 or related standards
- Experience with both manual and machine soldering
- JST certification is a plus
- Familiarity with aerospace/defense electronic assembly and traceability requirements
