Job Description
Our client is looking for a Quality Technician; Hands-on receiving, in-process, and final inspection of precision RF/microwave parts to print using calipers, micrometers, verniers (CMM a plus).
Apply GD&T and support quality documentation/standards (AS9102/First Article, IPC-610/J-STD, Mil-883).
This dynamic company specializes in RF and microwave products and has earned recognition for its innovative solutions in the industry. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting materials, conducting detailed testing, and ensuring that all products meet strict quality standards throughout the production process. You will play a key part in maintaining quality documentation, performing calibrations, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives to meet customer requirements and aerospace standards.
In this role, you will be:
- Visually and mechanically inspecting materials using hand tools, gauges, and optical equipment according to engineering prints at receiving, in-process, and final inspection
- Conducting GD&T measurements to verify part features and positions
- Testing parts with leak testers, hipot, capacitance meters, solder pots, and other equipment to ensure compliance
- Familiar with AS9102, aerospace first article requirements, and reporting
- Applying industry standards such as IPC 610, J Standard, and Mil-883 for testing and inspection
- Completing inspection documentation accurately and maintaining QC logs
- Performing internal calibration and supporting calibration activities
- Verifying shipment documentation to ensure proper product packaging
- Investigating and correcting rejected materials through corrective actions
- Managing material authorizations (RMA)
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Required Skills, Education and Experience:
- Experience conducting visual and mechanical inspections in a manufacturing setting
- Knowledge of GD&T principles and measurement techniques
- Familiarity with industry standards such as IPC 610, J Standard, Mil 883, and aerospace first article inspection (AS9102)
- Ability to operate and test parts using various inspection and test equipment
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of calibration procedures and support
- Experience with RF and microwave products is a plus
