Job Description
Our client is looking for an Assembler/Solderer. This industry leader has been designing and manufacturing power supplies in the US since 1961, and has earned a reputation for quality and innovation. In this role, you will be responsible for performing soldering of through-hole components on printed circuit boards, sub-assemblies, and light mechanical hardware, ensuring high-quality assembly according to engineering drawings and standards. You will work with small tools, follow safety protocols, and identify non-conforming materials to support quality control.
In this position, you will be key in supporting the company's ongoing success and reputation for excellence in power supply manufacturing.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Recent soldering experience within the past 1 to 3 years, specifically with board soldering of through-hole parts
- Ability to read and interpret engineering bills of material and documents
- Knowledge of ANSI/IPC 610B workmanship standards and Electro Static Discharge (ESD) precautions
- Ability to operate small tools and hydraulic equipment used in assembly
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Willingness to learn and perform additional duties as required
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, options for 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM or 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
