Job Description
Our client is looking for a Failure Analysis Test Technician. This innovative R&D facility focuses on creating life-changing technologies, and they are seeking a dedicated, inventive Technician to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing failure analysis on returned medical devices, reviewing mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and software descriptions, and documenting your findings accurately within an FDA-compliant Quality Management System. You will also operate data acquisition equipment, maintain calibration of testing tools, and support procedures for returned materials in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
Required Skills, Education, and Experience:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience troubleshooting complex electromechanical devices
- Minimum associate’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience
- Hands-on experience with basic laboratory test equipment and data analysis tools
- Ability to review electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and software documentation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Basic proficiency with MS Office applications
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and troubleshoot unexpected issues
As an FA Test Technician, your daily tasks will include troubleshooting complex electromechanical devices, conducting basic lab tests, analyzing data, and collaborating with a team to ensure the quality and safety of medical products. Candidates should possess at least 2 years of hands-on experience with electromechanical troubleshooting, basic laboratory measurement tools, and data analysis. A minimum of an associate’s degree in a technical field or equivalent on-the-job training is required, along with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM.
