Job Description
Our client is looking for a Precision Mechanical Technician, a vital team member in a company renowned for engineering high-precision components and advanced manufacturing solutions. In this role, you will support the assembly of components used in cutting-edge technology systems. You’ll work primarily in a cleanroom environment, utilizing detailed engineering drawings, measurement tools, and quality protocols to ensure each part meets exact specifications. This job requires patience, focus, and a commitment to doing things the right way, making it an ideal opportunity for detail-oriented professionals with manufacturing experience or a strong interest in precision engineering.
As a Precision Mechanical Technician, you will be responsible for building, inspecting, and certifying precision components and sub-assemblies, following strict quality and safety standards. You’ll perform meticulous hands-on work in a controlled environment, support process documentation, and communicate effectively with engineering and quality teams to resolve issues early. Your day-to-day involves following detailed work instructions, maintaining traceability, and supporting various production areas as needed to meet quality and deadline requirements.
Required Skills, Education, and Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in precision manufacturing, mechanical assembly, or related fields such as the automotive industry
- Familiarity with measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, or optical inspection devices
- Ability to follow detailed work instructions and engineering drawings accurately
- Ability working in a cleanroom environment and following safety protocols (experience not required)
- Strong attention to detail, patience, and consistency
Work Schedule:
7am–3:30pm, Monday–Friday
