They are hiring a skilled Mechanical Inspector on 1st or 2nd Shift in their Woburn, MA facility.
In the role of Mechanical Inspector, you will perform inspection duties including the inspection of machined/manufactured products having close to very close tolerances requiring the use of standard precision measuring instruments and straightforward set-ups.
You will perform first piece, in-process, and final inspections using straightforward set-ups of precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, comparators, verniers, surface tables, blocks, dial indicators, height gauges, etc.

Educational/Training Requirement:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a machine shop environment conducting mechanical inspection.
- Requires the use of mathematics together with the use of complicated drawings, specifications, and various types of precision measuring instruments.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Work from customer/company drawings, specifications, mil-specs, prints, sketches, routing sheets, shipping papers, history file data, and verbal instructions from supervisor.
- Work with standard inspection precision instruments such as surface table, blocks, dial-indicators, gauges, verniers, micrometers, calipers, comparators, microscopes, magnifying lights, and related tools and equipment.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent data entry skills
