Our client is looking for a Mechanical Assembler. They are a dynamic company specializing in the production of automated machines, that are rapidly gaining traction in major commercial markets. In this role, you will be responsible for building and inspecting machines and sub-assemblies and assembling various components of automated machinery, working closely with a small, dedicated team that includes engineers and the CEO.
You will use your mechanical skills to install sub-assemblies, work with hand tools, and ensure precise measurements and alignments, all while contributing to the assembly of high-quality equipment that meets exact specifications. Your efforts will directly support the company's growth and success as they expand their innovative product line.
Work Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Friday, 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM

Job Description

Work Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Friday, 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Required Skills, Education and Experience:
- Mechanical Assembly experience, including box-build and sub-assembly installation
- Proficiency with hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, calipers, and vernier gauges
- Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and bill of materials
- Ability to install components like PCB's, motors, fans, and bearing housings (no electrical wiring required)
- Knowledge of shimming, press-fit tolerance procedures, and aligning equipment
- Skilled in using basic measurement instruments such as micrometers and scales
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work in a fast-changing environment
- Strong team player who is willing to learn and contribute to the company's success
- Capable of maintaining confidentiality and managing time pressure effectively
