Job Description
Our client is looking for a Mechanical Assembler to join a reputable company specializing in heat exchanger and recuperator manufacturing. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling heat exchangers using hand and power tools, interpreting engineering drawings, and following quality control procedures. You will perform routine tasks such as working with fabricated parts, ensuring assemblies meet precise tolerances, and assisting with testing and packaging. If you have experience with press brake machines, soldering, or working with technical documentation, this role could be a great fit for your skills in industrial assembly and manufacturing environments.
You should be comfortable lifting up to 40 lbs, working on your feet throughout the shift, and following detailed instructions to ensure product quality and compliance. This is a full-time, Monday–Friday position with a schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, paying $20–$24 per hour.
Required Skills, Education, and Experience:
- Proven experience in mechanical assembly in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of reading Bills of Material, engineering drawings, and quality control documents
- Ability to lift 40 lbs and perform repetitive assembly tasks
- Basic understanding of soldering techniques; experience with brazing is a plus
- Willingness to learn testing procedures and operate press brake machines
