Job Description
Our client is looking for a Mechanical Assembler I. This role is in a clean, safe facility supporting a variety of sectors including instrumentation, aerospace, medical, and military. In this position, you will be responsible for supporting manufacturing by prepping parts, performing light mechanical assembly, handling circuit boards, and operating automated machines in a spacious environment. If you enjoy working with your hands and contributing to the assembly of electronic components, this could be a great fit for you!
You will be expected to work on the first shift, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
Required Skills, Education, and Experience:
- Mechanical Assembly experience
- Machine Operator skills
- Basic understanding of thru-hole components, color coding, and polarity
- Good work history in manufacturing or assembly environments
- Ability to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 10 lbs
- Strong attention to detail
- Willingness to learn soldering and operating automated machinery
