Job Description
Our client is looking for a Stockroom/Material Handler to support a leading medical device manufacturing facility specializing in innovative healthcare solutions. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the accurate movement and management of materials on the production floor, ensuring inventory is properly received, transacted in the ERP system, and issued according to shop orders and demand. You will operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and box trucks to load, unload, and deliver products, all while maintaining a strong focus on safety, accuracy, and customer service in a fast-paced environment. What you'll do:
- Safely operate commercial vehicles, including box trucks, for deliveries across designated routes.
- Load and unload inventory using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques.
- Ensure accurate delivery of goods to customers, maintaining clear communication with dispatchers.
- Assist with warehouse organization and inventory management when needed.
- Follow all safety regulations and conduct routine vehicle inspections.
Required Skills, Education, and Experience:
- 1+ year of manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial route/delivery experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, Lean Manufacturing, and medical device regulations is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand, walk, reach, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work well within diverse teams.
- High School Diploma or GED.
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
