Job Description
Our client is looking for a Material Handler to support their medical device contract manufacturing operations during an 8-week medical leave coverage. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and supplies in a fast-paced, ISO-certified manufacturing environment that services top medical device companies worldwide. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, labeling, storing, and delivering materials to production lines, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring safety and organization in the warehouse. This is a great opportunity to gain experience in the medical device manufacturing industry and build your skills in inventory management, material staging, and cross-departmental collaboration.
In this role, you will perform daily tasks such as verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders, inspecting materials for defects, and properly organizing supplies to support efficient production. You will utilize tools like inventory management systems, staging carts, and safety equipment to ensure materials are ready for assembly and production. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a structured environment are key for success.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Required Skills, Education, and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a warehouse, inventory, or material handling role
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and safety protocols
- Ability to follow detailed work instructions and work effectively in a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
