Job Description
Our client is looking for a Material Handler. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team committed to providing high-quality products and excellent service. As a Material Handler, you will play a key role in receiving, preparing, and shipping shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness to meet customer expectations. In this role, you will be responsible for verifying and processing incoming and outgoing shipments, operating a forklift, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting inventory management. You will work closely with planning, assembly, and purchasing teams to ensure on-time delivery and optimal stock levels.
In this role, you will:
- Receive, unpack, and inspect incoming shipments, recording details into the ERP system
- Pack, label, and ship orders through FedEx, DHL, and UPS software
- Ensure proper storage and labeling of materials to maintain quality standards
- Assist in cycle counting and physical inventory activities
- Collaborate with various teams to support operational goals
- Determine the most efficient shipping methods to meet customer specifications
- Support inventory management and control to reduce costs and improve productivity
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Required Skills, Education, and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50+ pounds with assistance
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
- Forklift operation experience
- Knowledge of domestic and international shipping processes
- Familiarity with ERP systems and shipping software like FedEx, DHL, and UPS
- Ability to work within a team and support collaborative efforts
