Our client is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer. This role is crucial in supporting manufacturing processes for high-precision aerospace and defense components. You will be directly involved in fine-tuning parts used in land vehicles, aircraft, and space systems, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality in production. In this role, you will support the Dip Braze production process and work closely with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing workflows. You will analyze equipment needs, develop detailed mechanical drawings, update work instructions, and implement engineering changes. Your hands-on approach will help identify improvement opportunities, train personnel, and contribute to lean manufacturing initiatives. You will also evaluate new equipment, justify capital projects, and collaborate on product development activities.
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Required Skills, Education and Experience:
- Experience supporting manufacturing processes in a low-volume/high-configuration environment
- Knowledge of Dip Braze processes and equipment support
- Ability to create and update mechanical drawings using CAD software
- Experience developing work instructions and implementing ECO procedures
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify root causes and process improvements
- Ability to train manufacturing personnel on new or updated processes
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and work cell layout design
- Experience with equipment qualification protocols (IQ, OQ, PQ) and capital project justification
