Our client is looking for an experienced Assembler, $18.50 per hour plus a 10% shift differential for 2nd shift. This dynamic company specializes in manufacturing high-precision components and has earned recognition for their commitment to quality and innovation in the industry. In this role, you will be responsible for bonding fittings, connectors, and valves to tubing and plastic parts using solvents, adhesives, and ultrasonic welding. You’ll need to demonstrate excellent fine motor skills and eye-hand coordination, reading blueprints and assembly diagrams to ensure precise work. You will also be expected to follow work instructions, operate effectively both independently and as part of a team, and maintain a safe, clean work environment.

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for bonding fittings, connectors, and valves to tubing and plastic parts using solvents, adhesives, and ultrasonic welding. You’ll need to demonstrate excellent fine motor skills and eye-hand coordination, reading blueprints and assembly diagrams to ensure precise work. You will also be expected to follow work instructions, operate effectively both independently and as part of a team, and maintain a safe, clean work environment.
In this role, you will be:
- Bonding fittings, connectors, and valves to tubing and plastic parts.
- Using solvents, adhesives, and ultrasonic welding tools.
- Reading blueprints and assembly diagrams.
- Following verbal instructions and written procedures.
- Operating computer tablets and PCs for online trainings and reviewing drawings.
- Working under a fume hood with solvents.
- Communicating effectively with peers and management.
- Maintaining good attendance and reliability standards.
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM
Required Skills, Education and Experience:
- Experience in bonding fittings, connectors, and valves to tubing and plastic parts.
- Ability to work with solvents under a fume hood.
- Strong fine motor skills and eye-hand coordination.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and assembly diagrams.
- Computer literate, capable of using online training tools and reviewing drawings on iPads and PCs.
- Assembly experience, preferably with a medical background.
- Reliable transportation and dependable work habits.
