Job Description
Our client is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join their manufacturing environment, where maintaining machinery and ensuring smooth shop floor operations are essential. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for shop upkeep, including the daily management of scrap chips, coolant mixing, and preventative maintenance on CNC machines, lathes, saws, press brakes, and shears. Your role will involve performing routine maintenance such as filling and filtering coolant, topping off oils and lubes, greasing linear ways, replacing filters, and cleaning equipment like pallet pools and chip conveyors.
In this position, you will also handle lockout/tagout procedures for advanced repairs and maintain a clean and safe work environment by managing oil and coolant spills, debris, and waste oil processing. You should have experience working in an engineering or manufacturing shop and familiarity with maintaining industrial machinery. This role offers a pay range of $25.00 - $30.00 per hour.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
Required Skills, Education, and Experience:
- Experience maintaining industrial machines such as CNC, lathes, saws, and press brakes
- Knowledge of coolant management, oil/lube topping, and filter replacement
- Ability to perform preventative maintenance and lockout/tagout procedures
- Familiarity with cleaning and maintaining shop equipment and floor cleanliness
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or engineering shop environment
