Our client, an innovative manufacturing facility working on cutting edge equipment, is seeking a resourceful Maintenance Mechanic.
This role is essential in ensuring that production processes run smoothly, safely, and efficiently by performing preventive and reactive maintenance on a variety of machinery and equipment. You will work across departments, communicating effectively and supporting your team to keep operations on track.
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting scheduled maintenance activities, troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, and supporting safety and continuous improvement initiatives. You will also handle documentation, communicate with vendors, and respond quickly to emergency repairs to minimize downtime.
Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (starts between 6:00 and 7:00 AM, flexible)

Job Description

Requirements:
- High school graduate or GED equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with the installation or maintenance of manufacturing equipment is preferred
- General computer knowledge, including proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Word; familiarity with Excel and production software
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and technical documentation
- Experience with troubleshooting and installing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment
- Strong skills with hand tools and power tools
- Ability to work safely, follow safety policies, and maintain a clean work environment
- H.S. Diploma or GED required
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment
- Willingness to learn and be a team player with a positive attitude
