Job Description
Our client is looking for a Maintenance Technician for a 12-week temporary contract. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on maintaining and repairing essential equipment across two sites, ensuring smooth production flow and facility upkeep. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for assisting with repairs, maintenance, calibration, and installation activities, all while contributing to the overall safety and appearance of the facilities. Your efforts will help minimize downtime and keep operations running efficiently.
In this role, you will perform preventive maintenance, assist with calibration activities, recommend equipment replacements, and help maintain site safety protocols. You will also support activities related to facility upkeep and work collaboratively with team leads and internal teams.
Required Skills and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- One to two years’ experience in maintenance or facilities work
- Basic knowledge of HVAC systems is a plus
- Familiarity with specialty chemicals, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and mechanical parts is preferred
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to read and understand work instructions, SOPs, and blueprints
- Strong judgment and adherence to company policies
- Ability to work as part of a team and handle multiple tasks effectively
- Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds regularly, and more than 100 pounds occasionally
- Willingness to work in environments with moving mechanical parts, chemicals, and extreme conditions
- Availability for overtime and travel between locations
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
