Job Description
Our client is looking for a Machine Operator to join a renowned manufacturing facility that has been a vital part of the industry for over 120 years. Operating primarily in a machine shop environment, you will be responsible for performing set-ups, adjustments, and operation of production machinery, including rolling, tumbling, and grinding, all while following established procedures. This role involves inspecting your work, recording data, and loading materials into machines to ensure smooth production cycles. If you have basic mechanical and mathematical skills, along with attention to detail, you could be a great fit for this entry-level opportunity in manufacturing.
In this role, you will:
- Operate and troubleshoot production machinery such as rolling, tumbling, and grinding equipment.
- Perform machine set-ups and adjustments per established standards.
- Conduct visual inspections and record data accurately.
- Load materials and monitor machine operations to maintain quality and efficiency.
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM.
Required Skills, Education, and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Basic mechanical and mathematical skills.
- Basic computer skills and interface familiarity.
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
