Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Systems Electro-Mechanical Assembly Test Technician to join our client's growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling mechanical or electronic components and products according to technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards. If you have a strong background in assembly and a passion for quality work, we encourage you to apply. We are only seeking candidates experienced with Interferometers at this time.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders
- Assemble components using hand tools, power tools, or automated equipment
- Perform inspections to ensure assembled parts meet quality standards
- Ability to use laser interferometer to inspect motion systems
- Identify and report defective components or materials
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Follow safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams as needed
- Complete required documentation for production tracking and quality control
- Assist with inventory tracking and materials handling
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred
- 2+ years of assembly experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read technical drawings and follow verbal and written instructions
- Manual dexterity and familiarity with small parts and tools
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
