Our client is looking for a Manufacturing Technician II - Coating. This role is with a company that specializes in advanced manufacturing solutions, primarily working on defense contracts, and is known for its innovation and commitment to quality.
In this role, you will be trained to operate thin film coating machines within a cleanroom environment, focusing on sputter deposition of glass substrates used in touch screens and visual displays. You will be responsible for following procedural steps, maintaining equipment, analyzing process data, and collaborating with process engineers to improve coatings. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety and cleanliness standards, and the ability to perform semi-routine maintenance and documentation.

Monday-Thursday, 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM; orientation on first shift for 2 days

Job Description

Required Skills and Experience:
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant machine operating experience
- Strong computer skills
- Experience with physical vapor deposition (PVD) coating preferred
- Cleanroom experience preferred
- Photolithography experience is a plus
