Our client is looking for a CNC Machinist. This is a long-term opportunity with a company that specializes in manufacturing aluminum, steel, and other metals for high-tech equipment. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC Horizontal Milling Centers, such as Mazak 700 or equivalent machines, ensuring precision and efficiency in production. You'll work closely with the programming team, follow detailed work instructions, and monitor tooling and machine settings to maintain quality standards.
To succeed, you should have experience with Mazak machines and controls, including Mazatrol Smooth G and Nexus. A solid understanding of G & M Code functions, and familiarity with Fanuc controls, is a plus. You will need to be comfortable reading blueprints, managing tooling and fixtures, and working with inspection equipment to verify dimensional features.
Work Schedule:
Monday-Thursday, 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM
