Job Description
Our client is looking for an Electronics Test Technician. This position is ideal for highly motivated technicians with a minimum of 2+ years’ experience, eager to grow their skills by supporting manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams through testing, troubleshooting, and repairing circuit boards and systems. The role involves performing tests to debug, evaluate, and characterize analog, digital, embedded systems, and power circuitry, as well as analyzing test data to identify and resolve component and assembly-related issues.
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Required Skills, Education, and Experience:
- Experience with soldering and managing circuit assemblies
- At least 2+ years testing and troubleshooting electronic assemblies to the component level
- Familiarity with common laboratory equipment, including oscilloscopes, DMMs, and signal generators
- Strong understanding of analog, digital, embedded systems, and power circuitry
- Ability to read schematics, BOMs, and engineering documents
- Ability to solder and inspect SMT assemblies utilizing a microscope
- Proficiency with office software like Excel and Word
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED); Associate Degree or related electronics training preferred
- Trained or certified to IPC-A-610 and IPC-771/7721 soldering and rework standards is a plus
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Prefer someone who has worked in a cleanroom environment
